I created this “photo-essay” film while in school as an attempt to bridge my photography with my newer skills in video and editing. I’d like to thank Sinful Inflictions in Whitby and of course Travis for letting me create this in their space. This video won me an award at Sheridan for “Best Imagery” and was also recently screened at the Ekran festival as part of the Shorts screening.
I’ve been teaching myself After Effects with handy dandy video tutorials on Youtube. I created this little thing today using a found image on Google of a Picasso sketch and using the “Stroke” tool with masking. Fun!
